Contemplative Living Centre 2015 Semester One Calendar

Reflective Workshops are offeredfor those who wish to explore aspects of spirituality and their own inner journey. These include a rich and diverse range of topics and include personal reflection time and sharing. Please bring a plate of food to share for lunch.

Quiet Days provide space and time for prayerful reflection and attentiveness to God’s Spirit in our lives in company with others who share the same intention. They are spent mostly in silence allowing for rest, refreshment and new insights. The program may include poetry, music, prayer of Presence, time for personal reflection and silent prayer together and alone. Please bring your own lunch (we usually eat in silence), a journal and pen, perhaps handwork and anything else you might need to make yourself comfortable. Art materials will be available. Your Quiet Day will be assisted if you turn your mobile off on arrival.

Reflective Workshop with Kaye Twining: The art of transformative living          Sat 7th February 2015

Our personal horizon filters all that we see, hear and know. Consequently, our personal horizon both shapes and limits who we understand ourselves to be in our world, which in turn determines how we take our place within it. However, are we stuck with a particular horizon? Or is it possible to transcend our current horizon i.e. to experience transformational shifts in our view?

This is a contemplative workshop designed to introduce participants to the nature of personal horizons, the nature of personal transformation, and the ways of engaging in the life affirming practice of transformative living.

Time: Arrive 10am for registration and a cuppa. We will start at 10.30am and finish by 1pm, followed by a shared lunch.

Suggested donation: $15. Please bring along a plate of food to share for lunch and a journal and pen.

Quiet Day with Jill Renison at Bunyip: Becoming Whole           Sat 7th March 2015

We are drawn towards wholeness and holiness, towards union with our Creator. This quiet day will explore our desire for God and our need for growth. We will look at contemplative prayer as an invaluable means of reaching out to the One who calls us to oneness and wholeness.

This Quiet Day will provide space and time for prayerful reflection and attentiveness to God’s Spirit in our lives in company with others who share the same intention. The day will be spent mostly in silence allowing for rest, refreshment and new insights. Books and art materials will be available for use on the day.

Time: Arrive 10am for registration and a cuppa. We will start at 10.30am and finish by 3.30pm.

Suggested donation: $20. Please bring your own lunch, perhaps some handwork or art materials and a journal and pen.
